And Again about Facebook

Can not really understand what the hell they are doing. First they wanted to control all users' private information, pictures and everything. Now they have decided to make a democratic FACEBOOK, and discuss all important changes and questions with the network members. '

As Mark Zuckerberg says, "all the users can have control over own pictures and information, and as soon as a user decides to leave the network, the can delete the information". To be honest I've been shocked while reading this information. I thought that this is natural to be able to delete personal information but now, I really doubt it.

I wonder how Facebook can use our information, private pictures etc. I wonder what languages are going to be used during those discussions. I wonder if there is something what can control facebook and forbid the use of private information.

Happy Birthday To Me

Happy Birthday To Me

Congratulations :)

Horeee, Horeee, Horee and Horee :)

Today in Stockholm was an important meeting. The Swedish government and the Royal family were discussing about crown princess of Sweden Victoria's marriage. The problem was - if both sides did not allow the princess to marry, then she could lose her throne after marriage (Daniel is a normal man, not prince or something like this :P :P ). aaaannndd - Of course LOVE won!!

And FINALLY crown princess has engaged with her beloved man Daniel Westlig. A bit later in 2010 they are going to marry each other. It is time now, they have been dating for 7 years now (from 2002).

I am very very happy for both of them and vish long and happy life :)

Volvo Vs Saab

Economical crises - something what scares everybody and especially big companies and factories. Lots of small companies have gone bankrupt and there are several big ones on this way as well. In this post, I want to write about 2 car companies which are having crises and do not know if they can survive or not . They are - Volvo and Saab (Volvo car, Saab car) . If you do not know, I want to tell that both of them manufacture cars, not juts cars but really expensive ones. I do not know about Saab, but if one has a Volvo it points the owners social status as well as kind a "Patriotism" - if you live in Sweden, then you have to have Volvo.

Well, now about the reason why I have started writing this post. Last few month, I am reading in the newspapers that Saab is asking the government to help with money, about half milliard every month. The question is - why has the government help to the company, whose production is not required in the market? And if the cars are not required why not to close the company at all, or make it smaller, or just change the company's politics - f.ex. make the cars a bit cheaper? I wonder how many Swedish people are there who wants their tax many used for such reasons, if instead they can be used for education, health system and for developing small businesses. And another problem, if government helps Saab, why should not they help Volvo too?

SNOW

Finally :)
We have snow in my city.
What are you happy about you can ask me :)
Nothing, I just like snow sooo much :)

Today when I took my dog for a walk, I saw snowdrops. I felt so sorry about them.. But now I think everything must be as it is. The snowdrops must be very strong to survive. Hm, there is even a little connection between us. They fight with snow and cold weather, and we humans fight all time when we want to get or do not want to loose something..

Tbilisi

Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of the Republic of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Mt'k'vari (Kura) River. The name is derived from an early Georgian form Tpilisi and it was officially known as Тифлис (Tiflis) in Russian, until 1936. The city covers an area of 726 km² (280.3 square miles) and has 1,093,000 inhabitants.

According to an old legend, the present-day territory of Tbilisi was covered by forests as late as 458 AD. One widely accepted variant of the legend of Tbilisi's founding states that King Vakhtang I Gorgasali of Georgia went hunting in the heavily wooded region with a falcon (sometimes the falcon is either substituted by a hawk or other small birds of prey in the legend). The King's falcon allegedly caught/injured a pheasant during the hunt, after which both birds fell into a nearby ot spring and died (from the burns received in the hot water). King Vakhtang became so impressed with the hot springs that he decided to cut down the forest and build a city on the location. The name Tbilisi derives from the Old Georgian word "Tpili", meaning warm. The name Tbili or Tbilisi ("warm location") therefore was given to the city because of the area's numerous sulfuric hot springs that came out of the ground.

Archaeological studies of the region have revealed that the territory of Tbilisi was settled by humans as early as the 4th millennium B.C. The earliest actual (recorded) accounts of settlement of the location come from the second half of the 4th century AD, when a fortress was built during King Varaz-Bakur's reign. Towards the end of the 4th century the fortress fell into the hands of the Persians after which the location fell back into the hands of the Kings of Kartli (Georgia) by the middle of the 5th century AD. King Vakhtang I Gorgasali (reigned in the middle and latter halves of the 5th century) who is largely credited for founding Tbilisi was actually responsible for reviving and building up the city and not founding it. The present-day location of the area which Gorgasali seems to have built up is spread out around the Metekhi cliff and the latter-day Abanot-Ubani neighborhood.
